Rick Perry on the three federal agencies he would eliminate

How many of these can Rick Perry afford?

The great part of politics this year is that Perry is not done yet. He made one mistake in numerous debates, with tons still left. He still has many chances to show himself compared to his opponents. Cain, for example, has fallen so much that Perry is still higher than him in the polls. But, it is pretty shocking that Perry forgot about the 3rd government agency since he served as a governor. Perry needs to understand that his mistake has been made. He needs to improve in order to actually win the nomination. He is still one of the strongest contenders, but Romney has not made a mistake, so he still has work to do.

Well everyone can probably say that they have forgotten something when put on the spot, but when running for president, one cannot make these mistakes. With a good majority of the country watching this debate, there's no room for error... What we have here is most likely the collapse of the Perry campaign, or what was left of it. It's like the straw that broke the camel's back.

As I watched the GOP debate unfold, I knew that Perry needed this debate to get back in the running. Everything was smooth sailing until... Uh I can't remember. Oh yes, he forget where he stood on HIS OWN ISSUES. This is inexcusable for for a man who walks and talks like he is the top contender for the nomination. My jaw dropped as he fumbled around with his words for over a minute. Texans might think twice next time elections come around.

This is pathetic. I'll admit, I was excited when Perry first announced he was going to run. I thought the governor of the most stable state in the union could bring some of that stability to the white house. Sadly, he's just too rough. He's a terrible speaker, he spends more time attacking Romney than he does explaining his own ideas, and when he does try to explain, he can't remember! Overall, he's just a terrible candidate.
Herman Cain too. Everyone that knows me knows I have been a huge proponent of Cain. I consider him an intelligent man and an innovator. However, I recently have grown away from him. And it's not for the reasons you may think.
I don't care about the sexual harassment charges. I just don't. When Bill Clinton can cheat in his wife in the White House, lie about it, and become more popular for it, I just refuse to care about the sex lives of candidates. Also, a sexual harassment charge is so easy to "fake" by blowing something little way out of proportion anyway, I don't give those kinds of charges any validity. What Herman Cain did is point the finger at Perry. Cain's camp had nothing but circumstantial evidence toward their theory, and yet the first thing they do is say "It was Perry! His campaign is trying to destroy Herman's character!"
"With what proof did you come to this conclusion?" I asked my T.V. And they had none. What Cain's campaign did was reckless, cheap, and low. I would expect such a thing from Romney.
So, as far as I'm concerned, both Perry and Cain are out. Perry because of his sheer lack of finesse and ability, and Cain because of his irresponsible finger-pointing and rash behavior.

Perry is pathetic. He says there are three agencies he wants to get rid of and can only state two of them. He jokingly says EPA is the third one then comes back and says it needs to be totally restructured. His handler told him what the three should be and Perry can only recall two of them. He is just somebody's mouth piece. He is just winging it when he can't remember what he is told to say. I'm embarrassed to have him be the govenor of our great state. I wish I was old enough to vote against him.

Perry continues to lose his credibility as he participates in these GOP debates with statements such as the ones he made. Forgetting his own plan makes people question exactly what his goals are and exactly what his goals will be if he becomes president. His unpopularity is shown in the polls as he is currently only at 8 percent and it seems highly unlikely that he will be able to improve his position.
