Politics in the Toilet

A couple of items to note. Once you begin to dig into the story, you will find that the Sen. from Idaho, like others in the past, turns to bashing the media for dragging his good name through the mud. Second, where was this story for 3 months? Wouldn't a rabid, LIBERAL media have jumped all over this when it happened?

Wow…

Actually I read a few weeks ago that his justification for "disorderly conduct" was that he saw a stocky African-American man in the bathroom and “didn’t want to become another statistic.” So clearly, he was acting in pure self-defense.

Maybe he was angry at the media because of what they have been known to do. Maybe he pleaded guilty to get the media to stop since they always blow everything out of proportion. This wasn't a political year and for the story not to be out for three months is not surprising. Usually stories like this come out instantly when it is election time. Maybe he knew it was all over for him anyway.
