NMA

So I've been on a Southern Rock kick over the last year or so. I never grew up listening to some of the older bands but have recently gotten into some of the new crop of southern fried rock.

The following are the North Mississippi Allstars. On a hot sticky afternoon...you can almost see the kudzu hanging from the trees!

i'm not sure why it's not common (or maybe it is?) for people to be deathly afraid of kudzu. i feel like it's a mass breeding animal that consumes mississippi.

I really enjoyed that. Stellar guitar part. Pretty intense listening, Mr. P.

I definately like the bluesiness (does that make sense?) of it. Interesting to see music influenced by other genres.

the music is alright, I might possibly listen to it if I felt experimental, or if my friend was playing it. Otherwise, add a little ruan, or pipa, or the sheng to that country fried rock heresy and it might catch my ears. And yes, it's because I'm oriental, as you never fail to point out Mr. Perry.

So that kinda made me wanna play guitar hero. It was pretty good especially with him rockin those glasses. I like alot of the old stuff too so I'm with ya on that.
