Things That Really Matter

Now that we are over 2 weeks into the Major League season, it's time to reveal my predicitions for the season.

Since my first prediction, one I make every season has already missed the mark, it appears that the Texas Rangers will not be the first team to go undefeated for the season. In fact, sorry to say, the Rangers will come in last place in the American League West. If there are any Ranger fans reading this, I feel ya. There is nothing that builds character more than being a dedicated, lifelong Ranger fan.

Now for the goods. The 2008 Major League post season will be the following:

American League

Boston Red Sox

Cleveland Indians

Seattle Mariners

Wild Card Chicago White Sox

Boston wins the AL

National League

Atlanta Braves

St. Louis Cardinals

Arizona Diamondbacks

Wild Card Chicago Cubs

Arizona wins the NL

Boston over Arizona 4-2

Oh come on, the cubs would've won the world series before the rangers, and they have a pretty nice record since 45. The red sox will repeat this year, Manny Ramirez is a beast.

whoa! Mr. Perry, you're forgetting that the Yankees are too real for the rest of the league and will be smashing on everyone.

So if your predictions don't come out right, does the class have to pay for it?

I hate how the Ranger are going to be in lst place I am a fan of them and hate to see them in a bad position.

I'm not really that much of a baseball fan, but I predict that the Rangers won't neccessarily be the last seed, maybe one of them, but not last. For the American League, I agree that it's Boston. Since I have lived in Georgia, I'm all for Atlanta. Next inline for me is the Cardinals.

HEY!
I didn't know you were a baseball fan Mr.Perry!!!
Yeah, I'm not really one, don't keep up with any sports really, except for Longhorns football. I have a reason though, grew up in Austin until I was in middle school.

I've always been a fan of baseball but I've never actually been able to get into the professional league because I can't find it interesting watched on TV.
However, it's always been my dream to see a game at Rangers Stadium.
It's a shame they apparently won't be doing well this season.

alright mr. perry, i agree with the red sox leading their division, and even winning the world series. but have some respect for the yankees. i dont like them very much but u at least have to give them the wild card spot.
